Meghalaya – aptly named “abode of the clouds” – is a series of hill ranges running east to west that are named after the tribes that live there; the Jaintia Hills, the Khasi Hills and the Garo Hills. These forest covered ranges (tropical jungle in the lower reaches yielding to pine higher up) separate Assam’s …

Thinking about a Wonderful World trip to Greece raised my levels of anxiety…just a little.
One: I was not so much of a beach person.
Two: I was a bit sceptical about Greece living up to all the amazing brochures that I had seen since I was a liitle girl.

We will start our journey in Assam with two …

Menchuka means medicinal water of snow. I am tempted to interpret it as divine land in the lap of snow. Pristine and untouched, vouched for by the lack of good roads leading to it.In fact, every stone that juts out on the path, making it an extremely bumpy drive leading to this slice of heaven, …
Huddled inside a lavvu, a Sami tent, around a blazing pinewood fire, we binged on coffee and “almost homemade cake”—almostbecause Knut, our guide for the night, bought the chocolate cake with coconut and sugar dusted on top from a store and sliced it in the kitchen at his home! We learnt from him about the …

Dozens of bouquet-wielding families intact with grandparents, kids, uncles, aunts, and cousins line up the narrow exit with warmth and good tidings at the Tehran Imam Khomeini international Airport. Seeing our group leader – a spirited tomboyish sturdy woman – is a welcome relief, given all the caution meted out to us – as a …
Myanmar was my first trip of this kind, and every aspect of it exceeded my expectations.
From day one, I felt so comfortable with all the documentation and planning done by Shibani – not to mention the information on Myanmar that was given to us! The hotels were very comfortable and beautiful, and I really appreciated the flexibility that was allowed in our planned schedule. My new-found friends on the trip also made it more special.
I am definitely looking forward to traveling with Wonderful World again!

As a group of 12, we traveled extensively across Greece. Our carefully crafted itinerary, balanced Greek history and heritage, with hikes and hopping across vibrant islands in the Aegean Sea. Our ‘Greece Girls’ gang was so much fun, and our shared laughs and conversations by the turquoise-water washed shores will be some of my very best memories.
Overall, my gorgeous Greek vacation with Wonderful World was a deposit of epic awesomeness on my mind, body, and soul!
I traveled with Wonderful World on one of their signature trips to Spiti in July, 2016, and it will remain as one of my most memorable journeys.
I traveled with Wonderful World on one of their signature trips to Spiti in July , 2016, and it will remain as one of my most memorable journeys. It was well-organized, the accommodation was carefully selected, the transport and the drivers were impeccable (which is so essential for a road trip).
Don't miss experiencing Spiti. And do the trip with Wonderful World – it doesn't get better.
